It’s not too late to incorporate Ramadan lessons in your teaching. In today’s episode, I’m walking you through 10 teaching ideas and activities to make this Ramadan a transformative learning experience for your students.

Tune in and download your freebie here.

If you really want to help your students develop a strong connection with the month of Ramadan, but you don’t know how or have the time to plan it, or if you’re just looking for some ideas to supplement what you’re already doing, then this episode is for you!

I’m covering 10 easy to implement activities that don’t demand you to stray away from your curriculum. If you’re already combining Ramadan topics or themes with your curriculum then hats off to you! Mashallaah, that is fantastic, and we’d love to hear what you’re doing with you class in the comments section. But if you want to learn some strategies that help develop a spiritual culture throughout Ramadan and beyond, then listen on in, because I promise you’ll be fired up by the end of this episode!

Ramadan is about growth

Although the month of Ramadan lasts only 29/30 days, the lessons learned, and the character nurtured is supposed to continue beyond Ramadan. The teaching ideas I’m covering in this episode take that into consideration. They’re intended to develop a culture of spirituality, progress, and transformation. Because, here’s the thing, Ramadan is about growth and transformation. And real beneficial education is supposed to be about growth and transformation. Content is only half the process. That’s why these 10 Ramadan teaching ideas I’m covering are not lesson based. They don’t require much planning (especially since I have resources ready for you to use so you don’t have to), and they don’t require much time (just a few minutes out of your day). But the impact is great, bi-ithnillah!

Here are the 10 Ramadan Teaching Ideas I’ll cover in this episode:

  1. Ramadan Themes and teachable moments
  2. Reflective Journal Writing
  3. Energizers
  4. Community Circles
  5. Goal setting
  6. DEAP – Drop Everything And Pray
  7. DEAR – Drop Everything And Recite
  8. Daily Public Speaking
  9. Photo Essays
  10. Selective Summative Assessment topics

This episode is incredibly insightful and actionable. This is some of what you’ll learn,

  • Why its not too late to incorporate Ramadan teaching ideas in your class.
  • Where to focus your energy when planning Ramadan activities for your class (hint.. its not the lesson plan).
  • Why Ramadan related lessons should not be limited to the month of Ramadan only.
  • 10 teaching ideas and activities you can easily implement and how they’ll help develop your student spiritually, socially, and academically.
  • Explanations and examples of how to implement the above 10 strategies
  • And lots more.

Tune in and start listening now!
