In today’s podcast, we'll be discussing how to build a business around creating and selling online courses. We'll also explore the advantages of selling your courses on popular platforms like Udemy and Skillshare, compared to hosting and selling them directly on your WordPress website.
In the past, I would have recommended only the latter method, but the marketplace has evolved, and today, I suggest doing both.
Some people may prefer the convenience and affordability of Udemy and Skillshare, as they offer a broad range of courses at a relatively low price. These platforms are also well-known for high-quality courses, and students can access reviews and ratings from previous students to assess the course's value.
In addition, selling your courses on Udemy and Skillshare can help you grow your personal brand more quickly by increasing your visibility on these platforms. You can still sell your premium content and information directly from your own website.
If course creation is part of your future plans, I believe you will find today's episode particularly valuable!
