In Hockey History, Jeff shares the origins of The Legend of the Octopus and why throwing them on the ice in Detroit at Joe Louis Arena for Red Wings games when he was a kid was for good luck in the playoffs and how the Rat Trick in Florida for Panthers games came about. Last, Jeff explains to Joey the difference between a forecheck and a cross-check and how penalties are called differently in the NHL playoffs versus the regular season.
