Ep.45 This week Pro Boxer Adelaida 'La Cobra' Ruiz (15-0-1, 8 KO's) joins Coach J on The Empire Boxing Podcast. Adelaida currently holds the WBC Interim World Super Flyweight belt. She's ranked #1 in the USA and #8 in the world in the Super Flyweight Division. La Cobra shares her remarkable journey, from her first experience boxing at age 12, to having her first child at 17. This led to a decade away from the sport while she raised her family before coming back at 27 to start the climb to the top of the boxing world. Adelaida talks about how addictive boxing is and how hard it is for her to break away from that pull.
