Joe Jurevicius is a former NFL football player, who played in three Super Bowls, winning one of them, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002. Jurevicius is a Lake Catholic, Ohio graduate and starred at Penn State University. Joe and his family have dealt with personal tragedy and heartbreak. His infant son Michael died shortly after the Super Bowl victory 22 years ago, and Jurevicius saw his football career end due to complications from a staph infection incurred while playing for the Cleveland Browns. In 2018, Joe was held at gunpoint in his Cleveland home, which led to suicidal thoughts. And very recently, a business of his, the Clean Group burned to the ground. Our wide ranging conversation dealt with Joe picking up the pieces and overcoming other setbacks. We also talked of his love of hunting.
