Rin and Haru’s breakup causes a stir not only within the Sohma family, but at school. Yuki’s sour welcome at the Sohma Estate sparks a conversation about toxic family relationships. In episode thirty, Momiji takes Tohru, Kyo, Yuki, and Hatsuharu to a haunted house. When Tohru fails to get over her fear, Hatsuharu takes a more creative approach to help her view the animatronics differently. Meanwhile, Arisa Uotani has an encounter with Kureno Sohma, which leads to a hot fudge-covered romance. In episode thirty-one, we learn that Kyo is really into bugs! And also that he can pick up on how Tohru is truly feeling. Also, Tohru turns to self soothing after a thoughtless comment from Hiro.
