In this episode, host Shona Lepis chats with Jessie Lang, an experienced real estate investor who invested in real estate over ten years ago and has since grown a substantial rental portfolio that she manages with the help of a small remote team. Jessie got started in real estate by accident. She attended the University of Texas and graduated with a degree in business. After college, Jessie decided to buy a condo in Austin, Texas. She had a partner and a roommate, who ended up paying her mortgage, unknowingly house hacking. This experience inspired her to pursue real estate and rental management as a career. She now works as a real estate investor and rental property manager.
