Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 - Section 2.1
Manage episode 381597219 series 3498469
It's time to get down to business!!
This week we start our journey in to THE big boss of Health and Safety law. As we have mentioned, the law is broken down in to Acts and Regulations and we're breaking it down further by discussing section by section so that we can really understand what things mean.
Section 2.1 of the HSAW'74 is duties that employers have to employees
(1)
It shall be the duty of every employer to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of all his employees.
We're pretty much looking at each word and, in our own special way, explaining what the requirement is.
So, as always.... find your perfect listening moment and enjoy the journey with us, Daisy and Lynsey on our H&S adventure.
