A quick recap on why I am doing Murph for 100 days.
Murph is in honour of Lt Michael Murphy, whom was Killed in Action, protecting his team in Afghanistan in 2005:
The workout:
1 mile run
100 Pull Ups
200 Push Ups
300 Air Squats
1 mile run
*20lb weighted vest optional
The premise behind doing Murph is to rise awareness around Mental Health and the impact it has on individuals in our lives. I have suffered and now I know many others have as well. Nobody is alone. Its ok to not be ok. Don’t suffer alone. Seek love and support. Review your life to live your life as the best damn version of yourself.
I saw Murph as an ideal clip on to our Movember Podcasts. Physical and Mental endurance, an opportunity to seek clarity, to drain my body of the daily BS. If this ordinary man could turn the impossible into possible, then anybody could seek their own greatness, their own clarity and strengthen the resolve in themselves. Its Murph for 100 days.
