This was our opening interview to start the "Big Tent Revival", our free live online conference, and oh boy did we hit the ground running. we had a full cast on hand but Omar and Chris got most of the questions in because Elizabeth was monitoring facebook comments in real time, and Seth was quietly listening lol. Rick Ross was a truly amazing guest, and an expert on the subject of cults. This episode was extra special to us because of our (Omar, and Elizabeth) past experiences in discipleship schools, and Chris and Seth's experience in fundamental christian religions. Rick Alan Ross is the founder and Executive Director of The Cult Education Institute. He is an internationally known expert regarding destructive cults, controversial groups and movements and author of the book "Cults Inside Out: How People Get In and Can Get Out." Since 1982 he has been studying, researching and responding to the problems often posed by controversial authoritarian groups and movements.
