Welcome to the Self-love Science Podcast. I'm Janice Cruz, a self-love scientist. One day before a breast cancer diagnosis the life I lived was one of extreme fear, sadness, worthlessness, and despondency. I was propelled into an incubator style healing journey where, under pressurized circumstances, I learned to become fearless, resilient, brave, and most importantly I learned how to recognize the hero in the mirror. During my healing journey I came across a million ways that people healed themselves physically, spiritually, and emotionally. One day, while reading a book about a miraculous healing story, I came across a concept that by learning to love myself I could heal and be well for life. My first question was "how the hell do I love myself?" Over the last two years, I have spent nearly all of my time mastering the abstract concept of self-love and bringing into the realm of reality.
