Knowledge of Truth (Colossians 3:10)

Colossians 3:10—“and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.”

Luke 10:27—“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind…” (Dt 6:5; Mt 22:37-38)

Genesis 3:4—“You will not surely die.” (cf. Gen 2:16-17)

Ephesians 4:17—“Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds.”

Romans 1:18, 21—“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.”

2 Corinthians 10:5—“We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.“

Knowledge as Relationship

Genesis 4:1—“Adam knew his wife.” (cf. 4:17, 25; 1 Sam 1:19)

1 Corinthians 13:12—“For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.”

Romans 8:29—“For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.”

Romans 11:2—“God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew…”

John 17:20-23—“I… ask… that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us… The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.”

Genesis 2:18—“It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”
