Today's Song To Chew is called "STICK MY NECK OUT" from my "Grow It At Home" album. It's easy to spot things in our world that need to work better. When we see them, we say, "Hey! That's not okay!" But as kids we learned "Don't rock the boat! Mind your own business!" But I think, it IS our business to think up better ways to do things and speak up about how to fix 'em! If we don't do it, who will? And then we find others who feel like we do, and we've got a movement happening! A 'giraffe' is a name for a real people who 'stick their necks out' to help others', often putting themselves in danger to do so. Check out 'giraffe.org'. I sing this song with "Amy the Giraffe". She's decided to stick her neck out and speak up for the 'little ones' who can't speak up for themselves! And with all the social justice movements going on these days, Amy says, "if we all stick together, we can get something done! We can stop the violence and save the world!"
