Born and raised in Palo Alto, California, Shani’s family has a background in the medical field and her father, Robert Bocian, MD, PhD, FAAAAI, is a Professor of Allergy-Immunology at Stanford University. Her father’s expertise and passion for helping patients with rhinitis and hay fever served as the catalyst for Allermi’s creation.

With Shani’s mission to help people improve their health and her father’s decades of clinical experience, Allermi became a family endeavor. They assembled a team of dedicated professionals, including six full-time employees on the operational side and approximately 20 licensed physicians providing telehealth services across all 50 states.
