Tenemos el placer de compartir con todos nuestros oyentes esta entrevista con Tomás (Tomi) Rodríguez, jugador de rugby del Mendoza Rugby Club argentino, que lo da todo por su equipo en el cancha (campo) como wing derecho.
Tomi es natural de Mendoza tiene 19 años y lleva jugando al rugby desde los 14. Una mudanza y un compañero en la escuela secundaria son los principales motivos por los que se inició en, tal y como él lo define, este hermoso deporte.
En 25 minutos de entrevista nos comparte unos interesantes datos históricos sobre su equipo, el Mendoza Rugby Club, decano del rugby mendocino. También nos habla de las rutinas de entrenamiento que sigue, preparativas, tanto físicas como psicológicas; explica a los menos familiarizados las reglas más básicas del deporte que practica y se abre con mucha calidez y sensatez como persona, desde su micrófono para todo el mundo.
Apasionado del rugby y del deporte en general, también disfruta cocinando y ayuda en el negocio familiar de su padre montando paneles eléctricos para ganarse unos cuantos pesos.
Su sueño es llegar a ser jugador profesional de rugby, nuestro deseo es que lo logre.

We are pleased to share our interview with Tomás (Tomi) Rodríguez, an Argentinian rugby player that plays as a right-wing for Mendoza Rugby Club.
Tomi, as he’s known by his friends and family, was born in Mendoza and is 19 years-old. He’s been playing rugby since he was 14, when his family moved houses 2 blocks down the rugby club’s training ground and a secondary school friend of his, persuaded him to start playing, as defined by himself, this beautiful sport.
In this 25 minutes long interview, he shares some interesting historical facts about his team, Mendoza Rugby Club, one of the oldest in the area. Tomi also goes through his training routine, both physical and psychological, explaining the basic rules of the game too; opening himself up from his microphone to the world.
A sports enthusiast, he also enjoys cooking and helping out his father’s business setting up electrical boards to earn some money.
He dreams of becoming a professional rugby player one day and we certainly wish he does.
