Ivan McClellan is a photographer and storyteller based in Portland, OR. In this conversation we discuss his earliest creative influences and he pulls back the curtain and brings us into "Eight Seconds" - A project that pays tribute to an American Icon - The Black Cowboy. Over the last number of years Ivan has traveled across the country to Black Rodeos - taking photos, creating relationships and telling the stories of the men and women who keep tradition alive by laying it all on the line.
