Fan favorite Reed Johnson played four seasons for the Cubs, showcasing a combination of skill, heart and hustle the North Side will never forget. Johnson and host Ryan Dempster relive some of the most spectacular catches in team history, while also discussing how the former Academic All-American used his smarts to get the job done at the plate. The former teammates compare and contrast the differences between the old Cubs clubhouse and the new one, share several funny stories that include Mark DeRosa, Lou Piniella and Kosuke Fukudome. Johnson goes back to his minor league days and his early years with Toronto, before his arrival in Chicago. He also explains how conversations with David Ross when the two were teammates with the Braves foreshadowed Rossy one day becoming a manager. Johnson also explains why he has an appreciation for the way Kyle Schwarber and Jason Heyward play the game. After a 13-year MLB career Johnson retired in 2015 and has focused on his family and starting a baseball academy in Temecula, California, but will always enjoy his trips to Chicago because of his time playing in front of the Wrigley Field faithful.
