Encountering the fire of God at Mt. Sinai was the critical high point of Israel's transition from bondage to the land of promise. Taking that insight, David Bryant reaches back 33 years to when NPPC's mission statement was about fire, namely: "to become a center FOR renewal". He shows us how today, like at Mt. Sinai, the fire of the Holy Spirit causes Christians to be on fire WITH Christ and then on fire FOR Christ. In turn, David suggests, this fire could transition NPPC towards becoming, once again, a center of and for renewal that impacts Christ's reviving work everywhere. The implications in this vision for our individual walks with Jesus are incalculable.
