I Don’t Have to Look for Satisfaction Elsewhere
- Jesus told the woman at the well that what she was really thirsty for was not a physical thirst but a spiritual thirst.
- There may be a moment of refreshment or pleasure, but you’ll soon be thirsty again.
- Every time we look to God to satisfy our longings we worship him in Spirit and Truth. Every time we look elsewhere, we commit idolatry.
Real Life Idols
- God is not against us having good experiences in this life. He has not called us to be miserable people.
