Ryan Day and Ohio State football came out firing on all cylinders in their first round matchup vs Tennessee, dominating the Vols to the tune of 42-17. The win capped off the fourth straight double-digit victory for the home team in the CFP's first round. Many fans sounded off on the lack of competitiveness in the first round, most notably Ohio State alum and ESPN Broadcaster Kirk Herbstreit, who went on to say that the new format shouldn't value teams winning in the regular season.
