She then discusses the symptoms of opiate withdrawal as well as the pharmacology of buprenorphine and its efficacy/safety in treating opiate use disorder. Dr. Bishop then identifies patients who would benefit from buprenorphine and constructs a plan of care for patients with opiate withdrawal, including non-MAT and MAT options.
