The LSU Tigers have a new quarterback in town. However, "new" is a relative term. While Garrett Nussmeier isn't new to LSU as he is going into his fourth career year in the purple and gold, he IS new to being the starting quarterback. Nussmeier takes over the job from Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels who declared for the NFL Draft. But QB isn't the only change for the Tigers offensively: new group of WRs, new group of RBs, and new offensive coordinators in Joe Sloan and Cortez Hankton. What is not new, however, is the offensive line as LSU returns four of it's five starters from the Joe Moore Award finalist unit from last year.

Nussmeier has incredible talent but coming into LSU, it was raw talent and a gunslinger mentality. From what we've seen from his start against the Wisconsin Badgers in the ReliaQuest Bowl, Nussmeier is a much improved and much more refined.
