The Kentucky Wildcats have a better shot at winning March Madness than most people think.

On today's episode of Locked On Kentucky, Lance Dawe discusses whether or not Kentucky basketball has the ability to make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament. John Calipari's Wildcats have guards like Rob Dillingham, Antonio Reeves, and Reed Sheppard that can aid them against any type of defense. Speaking of defense, Dawe believes that UK does have the ability to play shut-down defense... but for only one reason.

New Bracketology projections are out from ESPN, CBS Sports and various outlets. Kentucky basketball's first opponent is going to come from a pool of schools... so which one would be the easiest to face on paper? Dawe gives his take on what he believes would be Kentucky basketball's best draw to get to the Elite Eight in March Madness.

Reed Sheppard is going to be a NBA Draft lottery pick. The Ringer believes that not only will Sheppard go in the lottery, but he could potentially be picked as the top selection off of the board.
