Sean is a lifelong surfer, martial artist, and hockey player. As a child, Sean excelled in ice hockey, but at 18, he shifted his focus to surfing. This passion led him to travel the world, immersing himself in diverse cultures. During his travels, Sean began training in MMA and practicing meditation, transforming his need for self-defense and mental focus into an obsession. He trained with top martial arts coaches and fighters.
A severe knee injury redirected Sean's path, leading him to study and integrate primal movements and movement philosophies. This holistic approach cured his muscle imbalances and enhanced his mental focus, strength, and symmetry.
Inspired by the birth of his son, Sean felt compelled to share the world of movement with others, aiming to build a community centered on wellness and positivity. Musou embodies his family's American and Japanese philosophies, practices, and passions.
