We chat about his first major wildlife encounter, the bustling animal activity in the San Gabriel mountains, how he became an artist in residence for the Angeles National Forest, his top moments captured on his trail cameras, Wilford the bear celebrity, Limpy the lion, tips for off trail exploring, his observations of the local wildlife, and the one outdoor experience he would relive all over again. Robert is quite the adventurous individual and his passion for documenting the wildlife is absolutely infectious. He is on a mission to foster deeper connections to our local wildlife through his work so we may grow a deeper appreciation of them and grow respect of their natural habitat.
