As believers, we should be in the body of Christ, at church for a multitude of reasons.

Growth. Purpose. Fun and Enjoyment.

• Church community challenges you to be more like Jesus.
  “And let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching.” - Hebrews 10:24-25

Church community is vital for Christian growth. As we follow Jesus, we need other believers - to encourage us, to pray for us and with us, to teach us. We need accountability and wisdom.

• Church community meets practical needs.
  “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and signs were being performed through the apostles. Now all the believers were together and held all things in common. They sold their possessions and property and distributed the proceeds to all, as any had need.” - Acts 2:42-45

  “Carry one another’s burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ..” - Galatians 6:2
  “Bearing with one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a grievance against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you are also to forgive. Above all, put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.” - Colossians 3:13-14
  Christian community can provide friends to encourage you, people to challenge you and mentors to lead you.
