GUEST: Peter DeSoto was living in El Salvador in 2007 with his family, serving as missionaries. When he was traveling to a project in the far east of the country, a masked shooter attacked his caravan and filled his truck with bullets. One bullet hit him in the neck and lodged in his esophagus. Not only did he survive, but he also came back to meet his shooter to forgive him in person. Since then, he has invested in El Salvador in various properties and has been part of the team that created Bitcoin Beach. Revolutionizing how El Salvadorians earn, save and invest in Bitcoin as it has become the nation’s national currency.
