Manage episode 311850531 series 3193088
Dr Jayesh Manohar Lele speaks with a young Resident doctor who works in a Mumbai hospital. The Resident doctor, who requested we give him a fictitious name for the conversation, spoke or the alarming work conditions of resident doctors whose work pressures often see them putting in more than 24 straight hours at work, living in cramped, terribly unhygienic and near-dilapidated accommodation often lacking basic facilities and eating food prepared in dirty kitchens. It is a shocking story!
