I once again want to reiterate that the Good Lord NEVER intended the Book of the Acts of the Apostles to be a doctrinal book for HIS Church! Yes, there is much that born-again Believers can 'glean' from the Book of Acts. But be warned! If you are in a church that 'pushes' or even encourages the sheep to 'acquire' (i.e. seek after) those Holy Spirit signs and wonders gifts (that those FIRST (Jewish) Yeshua Believers manifested) you are being misled! Born-again Believers today in the Church need to WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY WHAT THEY (want to) SEE! Brethren, it doesn't take much faith to "SEE" and the believe! Yeshua Christ told Doubting Thomas, (only after believing because HE SAW), blessed are those Believers who don't see but still believe!
