In episodes, 38 and 39. I shared different specific exercises for you to teach your students whether it's in a group setting or a one-on-one private setting to help them feel and notice and learn to regulate their nervous systems. Although we can't really physically see or know for sure if an exercise is working, we can get feedback from students regarding their well-being.

For example, if a student says, "I haven't been able to fully relax like that, and over 20 years!" after a yoga nidra session... that's an indication that it's helping to restore the parasympathetic side of their nervous system.

It is important to know that both the sympathetic and parasympathetic sides of the NS are required - as we have to protect ourselves and we need the ability to react to threats and dangers, but we also need to be able to "climb down" from that threat response.

In this episode, listen while I answer a couple of questions I received from teachers who want to help their students relax but are unsure how - based on what they've seen in their classes.
