Contrary to popular belief, Jesus didn’t come to establish a political party or create a new religion. Jesus didn’t come to earth to just love people and make their lives better, although he did do that — Jesus came to establish a Kingdom. The Kingdom of God.
When Jesus began to speak, He didn’t compare the Kingdom of God to a high mountain, a mighty river or even a majestic oak. Jesus compared the Kingdom of God to a tiny mustard seed!
Jesus uses the image of something little to teach us about something larger than we can comprehend.
A mustard seed mindset believes that what is small in the kingdom of Jesus is wildly significant.
