To cherry-pick one example: if Michael Thomas sits, Alvin Kamara likely becomes the best running back play, but there also become solid cheap WR options in Tre'Quan Smith and Marquez Callaway. Having this kind of savings means more expensive plays at other positions become more relevant. If Emmanuel Sanders returns from the Covid IR, however, these plays become less relevant. And this is just an example of one team!
