On this week’s Cut to the Race, Oli, Abby, Sam and James talk about the weekend action that was the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The panel begin with the drama that was free practice and the controversy surrounding Carlos Sainz’s penalty as a result. They discuss what happened before talking about the lawsuit and the delayed FP2 before briefly touching on FP3.

The quartet then do a Vegas Special of the FormulaNerds quiz, before moving on to discuss the qualifying session that saw Charles Leclerc take pole position and some unusual drivers in Q3.

They chat about the national anthem, giving their ratings, and then debate the race. The panel tackle the opening lap and Lando Norris’ crash before discussing the performance of two front-runners. Once having discussed the race, the quartet then share their opinions on the post-race events.
