On this week's Cut to the Race podcast, Oli, Abby and Sam get together to talk about the final race of the 2023 season in Abu Dhabi as well as an Abu Dhabi Quiz.

The panel begin with discussing what happened in free practice including the 10 rookies in FP1 that saw Felipe Drugovich to second fastest. They then move on to the red-flagged FP2 before touching on FP3.

Next up is qualifying, which the trio discuss the highlights and surprises of, including Carlos Sainz’s early elimination and Yuki Tsunoda’s great performance.

The panel then give their ratings for the National Anthem Review before going through the race. They talk about the opening lap, the battles between Mercedes and Ferrari and McLaren and Aston Martin for championship positions.

They also chat about key highlights including the incident between Perez and Norris and the battle between Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso.

Oli, Abby, and Sam round off with their drivers of the day and the final championship standings.
