On this week’s Cut to the Race, Oli hosts once again and is joined by Abby, Sam and James, who has returned to review the Austrian Grand Prix as well as completing an Austrian special of the FormulaNerds quiz.

The panel touch on free practice and qualifying, which saw Sergio Perez once again fail to reach Q3 whilst Max Verstappen took pole position. The four of them then give their National Anthem reviews, which results in quite different opinions before diving into the race.

They talk about the battles throughout between Verstappen and Charles Leclerc, which saw Leclerc lead a couple of laps of the race before focusing on their teammates and the great battle between Perez and Carlos Sainz.

The panel then dissect the controversy surrounding the race result and the dilemma with track limits. They go through the penalties and what could be the solution to avoid having the race result finalised hours after the race again.
