Welcome back to Courtroom Confidential with Joshua Ritter! This week, I share my insights on some of this week’s updates in the true crime world, including:
- Florida woman Sarah Boone prepares to head to trial with her ninth attorney, James Owens. She is facing charges of murdering her boyfriend, Jorge Torres Jr., by zipping him inside a suitcase to die.
- Another twist in the never-ending saga of Adnan Syed, the man made famous in the wildly popular ‘Serial’ podcast, as he returns to court after his murder conviction is reinstated.
- Deobra Redden, the Las Vegas man seen in a viral video leaping over the bench to attack a judge, now heads to trial to face charges of attempted murder.
