What type of expert are you?
They often say that everybody is an expert at something. Sometimes people think they are an expert at everything. But I do agree that we are all an expert at something. Today I’m going through 10 different types of experts and I will ask you, which one are you? These were inspired by a coach named Kim Avery who happened to be my very first teacher in my coaching school. I will be doing a deep dive into each of these 10 experts. But first the…

The first expert is the distiller, these are types of people that the distill large amounts of information down to its key components.
The second expert is the professor. The professor investigates the subject thoroughly and systematically. They are interested in the facts.
The third one is the organizer and this person organizes existing ideas and facts into understandable groupings, sequential steps, etc.
Fourth is the motivator, this person moves others into action by giving them a reason to act.
The fifth one is the Explorer, this is a person that investigates a way of living and teaches others what they have learned.
Number six isthe expander, takes one word or concept and explores it in a very deeply way.
The seventh one is the curator, this person collects the best information, examples, resources etc. and passes them on to their audience.
The eighth one is the storyteller, this person fleshes out and enlivens a general principle or truth in story form.
The ninth one is the innovator, this person introduces a new thought, idea or a way of acting into an old situation.
And the last one is a journeyer, this person travels the same path as their audience sharing experiences along the way.
