Taking inventory of your year? It's not about what you did or didn't accomplish, but how you felt about it.
- Think about how you spend your energy. Are doing things out of obligation instead of because they give you joy? What can you eliminate?
- Success is living in joy. When you live in joy, your energy regenerates and grows. When you don't, your energy is scattered, depleted and stagnant.
- Competency is comforting. We make ourselves busy with tasks we are good at doing so we don't have time to take on things that are more risky, but will bring us more reward. This sense of unworthiness to live our dreams leads us to hide behind the busyness and procrastinate.
- Surround yourself with five people who you interact with regularly who will keep you focused, help you find courage, and re-frame situations to keep you feeling positive and moving forward.
- Keep your energy positive by celebrating the wins instead of moving on to some new form of validation.
