As Sony and Microsoft go toe to toe with each other in the form of next gen hype with console and game reveals, it looks like Xbox is setting up for a much bigger event than their 3rd party showcase that left us all wanting more. The rumors were kicked up a notch this week when a trusted industry leaker described the event as a "night of mic drops" and even hinted that the fabled Lockhart unit, already named by the gaming community as Xbox Series S, would finally be revealed. While this little console that could is not meant to compete directly with PlayStation 5, its existence in the marketplace and its supposed price point could make holiday shopping an even more intense battleground this year.
