After putting a hold on season 2 of Amplifying Diverse Voices, Priya Bates (she/her) and Advita Patel (she/her) co-founders of A Leader Like Me, came back with this bonus episode to wrap up this season as well as putting a tie on their book journey.

During the episode, Advita and Priya talk about the different challenges they faced while writing, editing and launching the book.

Although there were lots of things to overcome like working in two time zones and having to meet deadlines. Priya and Advita said they were relieved once they started hearing people's feedback on the book.

According to them both, one feedback that stood out is knowing that the book "is not too preachy" adding that it was better than they dreamed, especially once they started seeing people taking action inspired by the book.

The main goal of this book wasn't just about numbers but as Advita mentioned the goal is "focusing on those one or two individuals who read our book, go into their workplace, create change so another individual can live their working life in a better environment."
