He is a Harvard career advisor, UC Berkeley faculty and author of the Wall Street Journal Bestseller, “The Unspoken Rules: Secrets to Starting Your Career Off Right.” A first-generation college student from Canada, Gorick is a graduate of Harvard College and the Harvard Business School. Prior to becoming a best-selling author and keynote speaker, he worked in investment banking at Credit Suisse, as a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, and on education policy with the Toronto School Board.
