Covetousness is wrong, we understand this and what it can lead to. In this session, Jeremy examines what King Ahab coveted and why this particular thing to covet was so wrong; and the disastrous consequences for Ahab and Jezebel. And in the midst of this wicked story, we find the responsibility and freedom that God intends for us. This time, not freedom in an eternal, sin free sense, but freedom while we live out our mortal lives.

The most wicked time ever is coming on earth and the push for globalization and the corollary open borders is the leading cause (Rev. 9:21; Gen 8:21). The world is rapidly moving toward the one world system that consists of one world government, one world economy, and one world religion, a return to Babel that will invite the judgment of God. To have a nation you need five things: a) A common language. God divided the one language everyone used intomany languages. This forced them to separate into language groups. Thiswas for man’s good. Globalism is an attempt to return to a commonlanguage. Artificial Intelligence. Relates to one world religion.. b) A common culture. Culture is reflected and transmitted through thelanguage. Each language has uniquenesses that can’t be translatedperfectly into other languages, but which control cultural expression.Globalism actually destroys individual culture. It’s considered one of thenecessary evils of globalism among proponents, but it’s benefits outweighthe cost in their opinion. Relates to one world religion.. c) A government. A ruling body to govern the people. Relates to one worldgovernment. d) A common currency. A medium of exchange agreed upon by citizens. Relates to one world economy. e) Enforceable borders. If there is no border that effectively keeps people out then you don’t have a nation. Jeremy guides us through the biblical origins of human government, tracing its roots back to the post-flood era and examining the divine principles meant to safeguard society from chaos and divine judgment. We unpack why Christians are called to be politically active, especially in voting, while providing a balanced perspective grounded in biblical teachings. If you don't understand why God instituted human government, let's make it very clear: the thought of every man is continually evil. Jeremy unpacks this statement, which is not the thought of man but of God. We view ourselves as good, or at least not bad, but God who knows intimately our hearts also knows what we desire and focus on, and it's not good. So to prevent Himself from needing to judge the whole world over and over again, He instituted human government. The family is not just the backbone of society, it is the divine blueprint for a flourishing community? Family is the basic unit of society, not the individual. In this session, Jeremy demonstrates from the Bible the truth and importance of this statement. Do you agree with this statement: because divine institutions are absolute social structures essential to the well-being of the human race, we should vote for candidates that best reflect the form of these institutions. In this session, Jeremy looks at marriage, the institution God uses to describe His relationship to both Israel and the Church, and it’s importance to a well functioning society. When we stray from God’s principles for intimate relationships, either as individuals or as a nation, many things suffer. In the household, is the man the center of the household, the glue that holds it together and provides for the family, or is it ruled by the man where he is the most important part of the household? In this session, Jeremy unpacks differences between Patricentric views and the Patriarchy. The distinction is critical to standing strong as a Christian today. How can Christians actively contribute to society while staying true to their faith? We explore the intersection of Christianity and civic duty, focusing on the pivotal role of voting in shaping a government that aligns with biblical principles. Jeremy turns to the biblical principles of labor, rest, and creativity as reflections of God's nature. Examining the balance of work and rest, we discuss how these concepts urge believers to approach their jobs with sincerity and a heart for service. It's true. Government is here for your protection. At least in the way that God intended it to be. The forms of government described in the OT and NT are such that there were no elections because the forms of government did not allow for common elections. This is why we see no commands to vote or not to vote. However, just because a topic is not directly addressed in Scripture does not mean that it is not addressed indirectly. As Jeremy said, “To neglect the privilege of voting would be, in my view, negligent and irresponsible. Those who are irresponsible about voting abdicate their voice in the process and should likewise limit their whining about the outcomes of government direction.” More information about Beyond the Walls, including additional resources can be found at www.beyondthewalls-ministry.com This series included graphics to illustrate what is being taught, if you would like to watch the teachings you can do so on Rumble ( https://rumble.com/user/SpokaneBibleChurch ) or on YouTube ( https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLtV_KhFVZ_waBcnuywiRKIyEcDkiujRqP ). This is our last session in the Old Testament Framework Serise where Jeremy looks at the past partial and future total restoration of the nation Israel. This restoration was revealed slowly as history unfolded, but unlike some who think Israel totally blew it when they rejected Christ, we see that there is a unique and glorious future for the nation and the people.
