Encountering God Session 3: Pray
Manage episode 425271157 series 2872632
Welcome to Session Three of our summer Bible study on the MARKED Podcast! We're studying Encountering God, and we're so excited to join Kelly Minter as she unpacks the biblical foundation for sacred habits along with approachable ways to practice disciplines like prayer, study, worship, rest, simplicity, generosity, celebration, and many more. Each week, we'll release the next teaching session, and we'll leave the audio up for all seven sessions through August 5.
Prayer is the focus of Session 3. Kelly walks us through some of Jesus's teaching on prayer to point out that we pray to a personal God who knows our needs and faithfully responds to His children. She reminds us that prayer is not just transactional, but relational.
