OSHA is overseen by the Department of Labor. Their mission is to assure safe and healthful working conditions for all working men and women by setting and enforcing standards, and by providing training outreach, education and assistance. As a company it's important that you understand how to comply with OSHA standards, by understanding what they mean and who has the authority to implement for your company in order to avoid violations.
