Rene's notes: Brian has so many fans on the otherside, Karen Carpenter is another one. What a tragic life story Karen experienced. Once again, we look at someone with Karen's level of talent and think they must not have a care in the world. The opposite is true most of the time. Their pain is so overwhelming that they either destroy themselves slowly by drugs or alcohol or by starving their body until it is too weak to sustain them any longer. Or they do it by damaging their body by hanging or by gun or other methods. Karen is happy now and enjoying her freedom from the pain of this life.
