New York Governor Kathy Hochul steps into the cannabis quagmire in her state and says it’s time to open up cannabis licenses to all, not just the groups that were most victimized by the failed war on drugs. 1500 licenses in all stages of production will be awarded by December 8th.

The Marijuana Policy Project, MPP, and the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Law, NORML are talking about a merger because the market correction in the industry is hurting the lobbyist efforts in Washington DC at a critical time.
