Hey guys, I'm Ramalho and this is the start of the sixty-first edition of the Vørtice Pødcast. In this edition we're going to the other side of the world, but especially to Italy. Enjoy About @michaelbofficial Hi, thanks for being here. My name is Michael is an Italian DJ/producer, I was born in mid-December 1987 at the time when aperitifs tend to start. Although since childhood I have always been very attracted to music, being a DJ/producer was not planned, in fact I dreamed of becoming a video game programmer. It was a cereal box that changed everything, yes you read that right, a cereal box that inside contained a very simple software to write electronic music. From that day I discovered an incredible passion that in the following years thanks to courses, books and web videos would grow more and more. I participated and won some contests: Emerging Contest 2013, B&M Remix Contest, Musicadigitale.net's Song of the Month, which allowed me to sign 5 record contracts (DEM Digital from Milan, Doubleinc Records from Perugia, Flybeats Dance Records from Cagliari, Europe Dance Records from Perugia and Alveda Music from Thessaloniki), to distribute my music all over the World both in digital and physical format and to collaborate with national and international artists. Since 2007 in parallel with the activity of producer, I started DJing, I started from small parties and events in the area, then I moved out of the province and over the years I began to collaborate with many radio stations both online and FM, both in Europe and the rest of the World including: Pioneer DJ Radio in Ibiza, Radio Playstudio in Bologna, Eurobeat Radio in London, Kiss FM Australia in Melbourne and many others. Since 2016 I gave up Freelance DJing and dedicated myself to radio, I came up with a radio show called "B-Tronic", the podcast airs every week on In Progress Radio in Amsterdam, every Thursday from 10pm to 11pm, it is a sixty minute DJ set in which I offer the best Techno and Progressive House mixed record releases. As I stated in a recent interview at Radio Channel Italia studios, I have always been a shy and introverted person, music has allowed me to open a portal between the most intimate part of me and the outside world.
