https://drawify.com/ is a web-based platform for visual storytellers and it allows its users to tell their unique stories by weaving together drawings contributed by numerous visual practitioners - the drawifiers. I had the pleasure to interview Axelle Vanquaillie - one of the Drawify founders and we spoke about what problem does this platform promise to solve, who are its users, and what are plans and challenges that the product team is dealing with at the moment.

Hi, Nice to meet you. I’m Axelle, living in Belgium but feeling at home pretty much anywhere in the world. My visual story started in 2010. I had been an HR and communications professional for 18 years when I discovered the power of (live) visual storytelling for corporate purposes. Since then, I’ve been traveling around the world helping companies to translate their stories into drawings. I love to combine my passion for drawing with my strategic skills. In an age of information overload, my mission is to create drawings that have the almost magical capacity to clarify the most complex strategic content in a way that transforms the viewer’s perspective.

My mission is to enable anyone in the world to convey a message with a drawing, which has driven me to write a book, ‘Start to draw’. For those who prefer not to draw themselves, I founded Drawify in 2020.
