Deputy President, Paul Mashatile says that the Government of National Unity will stand the test of time. He says that the foundation and principles of the GNU were agreed upon by all parties involved. Speaking to SABC politics editor, Mzwandile Mbeje on Tuesday, in Cape Town Mashatile said that the GNU has brought much-needed stability to the country and that the ANC and other political parties didn't just enter into the GNU, but rather were forced into it by the voters.
