It's National Transfer Student Week! And in this episode of Transfer Nation Talks, we speak with first-gen transfer and Cardinal First graduate, Daniela Chabez, about her experience with the program and how it impacted her educational and professional journey.
A campus-wide, cohort-based program, Cardinal First supports first-generation students from enrollment to graduation. The mission of Cardinal First is to “provide a supportive and welcoming community for first-generation college students and their families, a campus culture that recognizes and celebrates first-generation student identity as an asset, and a program that intentionally connects first-generation students to faculty, resources, information and experiences that promote academic and personal success.”
This episode is part two of a three-part series focused on the Cardinal First program.
